Single storey extension and dormer loft conversion

City Architectural was appointed by an existing client to design a single story extension and loft conversion for terraced property they had purchased.  The client wanted a design which would maximise the accommodation but also satisfy planning policy so that planning permission would not be required.  As a result, the loft extension was designed within the provision of the GDPO, and the single storey rear extension was carried out under 'prior approval', and planning permission was not required.
